Pedro Nam, M.D.



Medical Doctor Board Certified



Dr. Pedro Nam was born and raised in Argentina and of Korean descent, Dr. Nam graduated from Montemorelos University, Mexico, with honors in the top 5% of his class. He completed his Internal Medicine / Pediatrics residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY in 2003, where he was also elected Chief resident in the Internal Medicine / Pediatrics Department. Dr. Nam is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Pediatrics. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and conversational Korean.



Jose Gonzalez, M.D.



Medical Doctor



The late Dr. Jose R. Gonzalez was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico. In 1997 he was admitted to medical school, Universidad Central Del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico where he graduated in 2001 with Cum Laude honors and was entered in the prestigious national medical school honor society, ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA. Following his graduation, he continued specialty training in the field of Internal Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. He completed training in 2004. Dr. Gonzalez started private practice in august of 2004.



Maria Mundo, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN



Nurse Practitioner



Maria was born and raised in Peru, Maria moved to Florida in 2005. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology in 2017. This was followed by an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University where she was awarded the Scholar of the Year award in 2019. She started her nursing career in the cardiovascular ICU where she treated patients for 3 years. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2022, followed by a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, both from Florida Atlantic Univeristy. Maria is committed to providing care that is person-centered and culturally tailored. She is fluent in Spanish.



Yeni tamayo fornaris, FNP-BC, APRN



Nurse Practitioner



Yeni was born and raised in Cuba before moving to Florida in 2011. With a decade of experience as a psychologist in Cuba, she transitioned to a nursing career upon her arrival in the United States. In 2014, she began nursing studies at Lindsey Hopkins Technical College and Keiser University. Over the next ten years, her nursing journey included roles in corrections, the ICU, and plasma centers. In 2026, Yeni earned her master’s degree in nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from South University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing at South University, with completion expected in 2027. Yeni is dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care and is fluent in Spanish



Abegail Unico, APRN, FNP-C, CEN, MSN



Nurse Practitioner



Abegail was born and raised in the Phillipines, Abegail graduated top in her class and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northern Christian College. She began her nursing career treating patients in the Phillipines as well as in Kuwait before moving to the United States. Since then, Abegail has treated and cared for Emergency room patients for over 30 years. In addition to her years of experience, Abegail also has a Masters of Science in Nursing from South University. Abegail is a Registered Nurse, Certified Emergency Nurse as well as a Certified Family Nurse Practicioner.



Sharon Johnson, PA-C



Physician Assistant



Sharon was born and raised in Jamaica has been a physician assistant for the past 19 years Internal/Family Medicine, she had started with Dr. Nam and Dr. Gonzalez 19 years ago.

Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry ( Honors) from Florida Atlantic University (1999), a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and Medical Science (Honors) from Nova Southeastern University (2006). She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is people-oriented: who enjoys interacting with people. She is extremely zealous about providing excellent comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients, focusing on preventative medicine and patient education. She believes in empowering patients to take an active role in their health and well-being. Sharon is married to Eric Johnson for over 30 years and a mother of three children. She loves spending time with her family, being an active member in her church, traveling and enjoys gardening. She is also very passionate in serving the underserved. She say "In all I do, I do unto God who gives me wisdom, knowledge and understanding."
